OVER AFTERTHOUGHT ARTIST: DYGORO SASAKI
Dygoro Sasaki takes as his starting point “how to be memorized my memories” and explores the notion of memory as afterthought which consists in between reality & imagination. The randomly accessing & connecting of memories are created as fictional memories which are like looped time, distorted & false memories, paradoxes, deja vu, and reflections within the increasing memories. This is a psychological approach to what is the memorized form. “Over Afterthought can be seen as a fictional memory’s world through installation work and mixed media with real-time sound effects & memorable objects.” Dygoro is a Hackney Wick / London based visual artist and photographer, born in Japan 1976, and has lived in Hackney Wick since 2009. His works shows "the message of mess-age", that explore thought between memories and time. The art works are about growth & decay, birth & death, creation & destruction, weathering, tracing life, once upon a time, time loops, fictitious, identities, paradox, and memories of reflection & fragments, by installations, mixed media and visual arts. He uses enumerated still images, visual projections, environmental objects, decayed industrial warehouses or buildings, waste, antiques, plants, flowers, mirrors and recycling & industrial material objects.
